.DISCUSSION...

Weak high pressure will build into the area through this evening. A
cold front will cross the area Saturday evening. High pressure
builds again for Sunday. Another cold front will cross the area
Monday. Stronger high pressure builds for the middle and second half
of next week.

The weekend looks mostly dry outside of a few showers over the
mountains as another weak front passes through the region. Minimum
RH values Saturday will fall back to between 25 to 40 percent,
especially east of the Blue Ridge. Minimum RH of 25 to 35 percent is
forecast Sunday. Winds will remain elevated Saturday with gusts of
20 to 30 mph expected. More widespread rain chances should quell
fire weather concerns heading into early next week.
