.DISCUSSION...

Today`s gusty winds will diminish substantially this evening.
Early Monday morning in the 4am to 7am timeframe, light northwest
winds will turn to southerly. They will continue to blow from the
south-southwest through Monday afternoon. Sustained winds are
expected to climb to near 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph beginning at
around noon and lasting overnight. The combination of dry fuels,
gusty winds, and low minimum RH (20 to 25%) will result in
elevated fire danger for the area between noon and 8pm Monday.
Plenty of sun and mixing up to about 4000 ft may result in lower
RH values than currently forecast. Despite Tuesday being a very
similar day to Monday in terms of wind and dryness, increased
moisture is expected to limit our chances at elevated fire danger.
