Light and variable surface and transport winds early this morning will become southerly towards noon and then southwesterly by the mid-afternoon hours, with transport speeds only increasing to around 5 mph. These very light speeds will yield marginally low daytime dispersion values today. Patchy fog may develop near the burn site during the predawn and early morning hours on Sunday. Surface and transport winds will shift to west-southwesterly towards sunrise, with breezy transport speeds expected by the late morning hours. Surface and transport winds will then shift to northwesterly early on Sunday afternoon and then north-northwesterly by late afternoon, with transport speeds continuing to gradually increase and gusty surface winds developing during the early to mid-afternoon hours.
