.DISCUSSION...

Winds have shifted southerly and will gust from 25 to 35 mph during this
afternoon. Strong transport winds and deep mixing heights today through
Wednesday will yield favorable vent rates. On Wednesday wind gusts of
40 to 50 mph are forecast. A broken line of thunderstorm will move eastward
across the IL river valley during mid Wednesday afternoon, then expect the
rain to turn to snow showers during late Wednesday evening with less than
1 inch of snow expected into overnight Wednesday night.
