.DISCUSSION...

Unseasonably warm temperatures will couple with breezy southerly
winds and dry antecedent conditions, resulting in an elevated fire
danger today. This will generally be seen for areas along and
south of Interstate 80. Otherwise, the fire danger will decrease
tonight and through Wednesday, as higher moisture and widespread
showers and storms move into the area, limiting the fire danger.
The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
make appropriate adjustments.
