Gusty west winds will continue into the afternoon hours today under strong
west southwest flow aloft and with a surface lee trough across the
region. Red Flag Warnings will occur from late morning through this afternoon
due to gusty winds and low humidities. A potent weather disturbance aloft
and its associated cold front will bring much colder temperatures and gusty
winds on Tuesday, with numerous rain and snow showers for Tuesday afternoon.
