...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

The next system will arrive late tonight across the North Bay with
showers spreading across the rest of the region on Sunday. Totals
will be between 0.5" up to 1.5" across the coastal mountain ranges
with locally higher totals possible across the North Bay Mountains
and up to 0.5" across the interior. Gusty winds are expected Sunday
as a cold front moves through the region bringing widespread gusts
between 30 to 40 mph with locally higher gusts in the North Bay
Mountains. Conditions will dry out by Tuesday with guidance
suggesting some potential for light rain late next week. No fire
concerns with the 100 Hr Fuel Moisture above average and the energy
release component below average for this time of year.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

A potent frontal system will move across the area today bringing a
period of heavy rain and strong gusty southerly winds. A cooler and
showery airmass will follow tonight and snow levels will fall to
around 3000 feet. Blustery westerly and northwesterly winds are
expected for Monday, followed by lighter offshore winds and drying
on Tuesday.
