.DISCUSSION...
There will be an Elevated Fire Danger threat today across all
Fire Districts due to very low afternoon humidity and strong
winds today. Winds will begin out of the south and southwest
ahead of a strong cold front that will begin entering the
Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma
and Southwest Arkansas later this morning, pushing through
our entire region by late this afternoon. Look for very low
relative humidity again on Thursday across all districts but
wind speeds will be somewhat lighter on Thursday compared to
wind speeds today.
