.DISCUSSION...
The marine layer is expected to become shallower through the
weekend. Above average temperatures are expected Friday through
Tuesday, with the warmest days expected to be Sunday and Monday.
Periods of weak to locally moderate north to northeast winds are
expected Friday through Monday on coastal mountain slopes, below
passes, and locally into the valleys. Peak gusts will be around 35
mph. Minimum daytime relative humidity will fall to 10 to 20
percent Saturday through Monday afternoons. Cooler and cloudier
conditions will return for the middle of next week. There remains
chances of widespread precipitation for the latter half of next
week, but there is low confidence in the details. Chances for
wetting rain is around 50 percent for Thursday into
Friday of next week.
