National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
351 PM EDT Sat Mar 15 2025

.DISCUSSION....
Sunday high pressure will push offshore and the pressure
gradient will be pinched across all of ENC out ahead of
an approaching strong cold front resulting in strong wind
gusts up to 40 mph ahead of the cold front. The front will
cross the area late Sunday and Sunday night which could
bring strong to severe storms and heavy rainfall. High
pressure builds back across the area early next week.
