.Discussion...
High pressure in the western Atlantic will allow for a southeasterly
wind flow to continue across most areas through the early portion of
the week. The exception to this will be across Southwest Florida,
where winds will become southwesterly each afternoon as a Gulf
breeze develops. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will remain
possible over the interior as well as Southwest Florida this
evening, and then another round of showers and storms will be
possible in the same locations on Monday afternoon and evening.
Maximum dispersion values on Monday will be generally good over the
eastern half of the region, while poor to fair dispersion values
will be in place across Southwest Florida.
Patchy fog is possible over the interior locations late tonight into
early Monday morning.
