.DISCUSSION...An uptick in winds is expected today and tonight,
as a strong system moves into the Commonwealth. Moisture will
continue to increase today with rounds of showers and some
thunderstorms at times through tonight and into Sunday as
two cold front cross the area. A few of the storms today
and tonight could produce strong to damaging wind guts. From
today through Sunday, at least a half of an inch to an inch of
rain is forecast in far southeastern KY with higher amounts
anticipated further west. Drier weather follows for Sunday night
through Wednesday.
