Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
155 PM CDT Mon Mar 24 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire danger is not expected given recent rainfall and moist fuels,
despite some locally lower RH in the 20s and 30s. Winds will also
be light and variable throughout the week. Next chance for rain
comes Friday and chances will persist through the weekend with
some severe storms possible Sunday. There is the chance for dense
fog tonight, especially southeast. Fog should clear by mid morning
Tuesday.
