.DISCUSSION...
Winds will shift from southwest to northwest tonight, diminishing
somewhat as the frontal system departs. A brief transition to snow
is anticipated overnight into Sunday morning, perhaps providing a
dusting of snow in some areas. Otherwise, winds will shift back
to the south on Monday and remain there through Wednesday. Strong
transport winds and deep mixing heights during this period will
yield favorable vent rates. While current forecast guidance does
not point to elevated fire weather concerns Mon - Wed, we would
not be surprised if this risk increases.
