.DISCUSSION...
Patchy areas of dense fog should break by mid morning. Minimum
afternoon RH values should drop into the 35 to 50 percent range
inland, and closer to 60 percent near the coast. Some areas near
the immediate coast could struggle to drop below 70 percent.
Southerly winds will become more southwest to west today, then
eventually to the northwest in the afternoon and evening as a weak
front passes though. Onshore flow quickly returns by Thursday
afternoon. Despite the return to onshore flow, minimum afternoon
EH values are generally expected to be below 40 percent for areas
north of I-10. RH is expected to quickly increase as one
approaches the coast, averaging 55 to 60 percent in our coastal
zones.
