.DISCUSSION...
After a warm quiet Tuesday, our forecast area will see two different
fire risk regimes. Moisture does move in for Wednesday/Thursday, with
a chance of showers and thunderstorms. However surface dewpoints will
likely only climb into the 30s, so dry lightning is a threat both
afternoons. Large scale winds remain light but as usual, any winds
near thunderstorms could prove strong and erratic. Friday through
the weekend turn dry again with continued warm temperatures. Both
Friday and Saturday afternoons will see breezy winds. Saturday
looks a bit stronger-both days will escalate to near-critical, and
perhaps even Red Flag conditions Saturday.
