Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
231 PM EDT Mon Jul 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Lower temperatures and higher rain chances are expected tomorrow
and Wednesday as weak upper ridging breaks down. Ridging returns
to close out the week resulting in a warming trend and lower rain
chances, though the moisture is high enough to keep the threat of
diurnally driven showers and thunderstorms in the forecast each
day.

Fog Potential: Patchy and focused near bodies of water.
