In northwest Georgia, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Murray, Walker and Whitfield. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT Saturday through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several waves of precipitation are expected over north and northwest Georgia Saturday into Sunday. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected through Sunday morning. Locally higher rainfall amounts will be possible repeated rounds of heavy rainfall occur.
