.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Dense fog has settled in along the coast, causing visibilities
below 1 nautical mile for the bays and nearshore waters of the
Middle Texas Coast. Therefore, a Marine Dense Fog Advisory is in
effect through 4 AM Saturday, before conditions hopefully improve
with winds shifting northwesterly in advance of an approaching a
cold front. A strong breeze between 20-25 knots will continue in
advance of the aforementioned cold front. Winds will veer to the
northwest by Saturday morning as boundary moves offshore. By early
evening Saturday a northwesterly Gentle to a Moderate Breeze
(BF-3/4) of 7-16 knots will persist into early next week. A
generally weak (5-10 knots) offshore flow Sunday morning will
become onshore by the afternoon. Onshore winds will strengthen to
moderate (15-20 knots) by Tuesday. Strong (20-25 knots) onshore
flow will develop Tuesday night, especially across the offshore
waters, ahead of the next cold front. The cold front is expected
to move across the Coastal Waters Wednesday with a strong offshore
flow developing in its wake. A Small Craft Advisory may be
warranted Tuesday night ahead of the cold front and again
Wednesday night behind the cold front.
