Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh southerly winds and low to moderate
seas will prevail through Saturday ahead of a weak cold front. A
Small Craft Advisory is in effect late tonight into Saturday
morning leading up to frontal passage. Conditions should improve
on Sunday with northerly winds gradually shifting to the east
Sunday night. Moderate southeast winds return by early next week,
and seas will build in response. Midweek, another frontal system
will create unfavorable marine conditions.
