* Until 100 AM EDT.

* At 1059 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 33 nm east of Winthrop Harbor to 6 nm northeast of
  Joliet, moving east at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Buffalo and Michigan City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for northwestern
