For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak area of low pressure, 29.60 inches, tracks into
the Great Lakes today maintaining periods of showers and
thunderstorms. A powerful cold front looks to cross the area on
Saturday, with will present strong winds ahead and behind the
front.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots  becoming light and
variable. Areas of fog in the evening...then widespread fog after
midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots
late in the morning...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the
afternoon. Widespread fog in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less
building to 3 to 5 feet late in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast
20 to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Showers likely
after midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots becoming west 15 to 20 knots early in the afternoon.
Showers likely. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around
15 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots. Gusts to 30 knots
after midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots becoming northwest to
30 knots late in the afternoon...then decreasing to 20 to
25 knots late in the evening. Waves 8 to 12 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then backing
to the south early in the evening increasing to 20 to 25 knots by
midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 4 to 6 feet in the late
morning and early afternoon...then subsiding to 1 to 3 feet early
in the evening building to 6 to 9 feet by midnight. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots becoming west 15 to 20 knots early in the evening...then
becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots by midnight. Waves 8 to 12 feet
subsiding to 4 to 6 feet by midnight. Waves occasionally around
15 feet.

.SATURDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then veering
to the southwest early in the afternoon. Showers in the morning...
then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 feet.
Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers
in the evening. Waves 5 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around
10 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots late in the evening. Waves 6 to 9 feet building to 8 to
12 feet late in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then becoming
northeast 5 to 10 knots early in the evening becoming south 15 to
20 knots by midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet
early in the evening...then building to 4 to 6 feet by midnight.
Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots becoming southwest 15 to 20 knots early in the evening...
then becoming west 10 to 15 knots by midnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet
