...HIGH SURF ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 5 PM CHST THIS AFTERNOON...

Surf along north facing reefs have fallen below the 9 foot
threshold for a High Surf Advisory. Surf is expected to
continue to gradually drop over the next several days.

...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 11 feet. Minor coastal
  flooding possible.

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Yap.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. Dangerous
  swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Large northeast swell from Typhoon Sinlaku
  will bring hazardous surf along north and east facing reefs
  through at least Saturday afternoon. Hazardous surf, combined
  with the higher high tides with the new moon cycle, may produce
  minor coastal inundation along northern and eastern shorelines
  at times of high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
