Subject:  Additions and Changes to the Station Time Series BUFR
Station Lists for the GFS, RAP, and HRRR: Effective March 25,
2025

Effective on or about Tuesday, March 25, 2025, beginning with
the 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) model distribution,
the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) will
modify the list of stations for which station time series Binary
Universal Form for the Representation of Meteorological Data
(BUFR) data are generated for the Global Forecast System (GFS),
the Rapid Refresh (RAP) model, and the High-Resolution Rapid
Refresh (HRRR) model.

- The new stations are listed in Table 1 below.
- Stations for which information is being changed are listed in
Table 2 below.
- No stations are being removed.
- There will be no accompanying NOAAPort changes to the lists of
stations in the GFS model BUFR sounding collectives.
- There will be no changes to the HRRR-Alaska output.

Existing Sites.  The numerical and character identifications are
provided:

- The location of station 000251 (KLDM, Ludington, MI) is
corrected from 43.58N, 84.24W to 43.96N, 85.30W.

- The location of station 000252 (KRQB, Big Rapids, MI) is
corrected from 43.43N, 85.30W to 43.73N, 85.51W.

- The location of station 000253 (KMOP, Mount Pleasant, MI) is
corrected from 43.37N, 84.44W to 43.62N, 84.74W.
