...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM FRIDAY TO 7 AM
AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT... Blowing snow expected with visibility reduced to a 1/2
  mile or less at times. Storm total snow accumulations of 4 to 6
  inches. Northerly winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Yukon Delta Coast.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Friday to 7 AM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow begins Thursday evening and lasts
  through Saturday. The strongest winds and greatest blowing snow
  potential exists very close to the coast with winds diminishing
  further inland. Winds diminish overnight Friday although snow
  continues. Locally heavier snow totals near Scammon Bay of 6 to
  9 inches across the whole event.
