...Bering Sea Storm Sunday Through Early Wednesday...

A strong winter storm is expected to bring a myriad of impacts to
the West Coast and Western Interior Sunday through early Wednesday.
Impacts include:

* South winds gusting up to 65 mph in coastal locations on Sunday
  and Sunday night.

* Heavy mixed precipitation in coastal areas.

* Heavy snow in inland locations, especially in the higher
  terrain of the Brooks Range.

* Possible coastal flooding on Monday through Wednesday as the
  storm moves inland and winds shift to southwesterly.

This system will bring warmer air with it, which will result in
periods of heavy mixed precipitation along the coast. Heavy mixed
precipitation and snow is possible in the Western Interior and
along the coast north of the Seward Peninsula, with the heaviest
snow likely in the higher terrain, including the Western Brooks
Range.
