.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will continue their downward trend
through the rest of the week as a cold polar low begins to move
into the Western Interior. Minimum RH values will remain above 35%
across the Western Interior. Southwesterly winds will dominate
today and range from 10 to 15 mph with some areas gusting to 25
mph. Showery weather will continue today before mostly drying out
Friday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible today in the Middle
Yukon and in the Koyukuk Valley near Hughes. No thunderstorms are
expected in western AK.
