.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- An Arctic front will be moving south across the northern
portions of the West Coast today, bringing isolated to
scattered showers. Showers build in more across the West Coast
tonight into early tomorrow morning.
- Slightly cooler temperatures expected Wednesday across northern
portions of the West Coast with the frontal passage. Similar
highs expected Wednesday and Thursday elsewhere, with a warming
trend expected across the Western Interior through Saturday with
highs in the mid 70s to near 80.
- Winds will mostly be out of the west/southwest over the next
couple of days, with speeds slightly decreasing as the front
pushes farther into southeastern portions of the state.
- By Sunday and the beginning of next week, a low from the Bering
is expected to approach, bringing southwest flow and the potential
for quite a bit of precipitation into the start of the week.
