.DISCUSSION...
The low in Bristol Bay is moving onshore bringing a strong front
across the Interior. There will be continued shower chances
across the Western Interior through the remainder of the week.
These showers have a low chance to produce a wetting rain. Daytime
temperatures will begin its cooling trend tomorrow with
temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Minimum RH values will remain
above 45% across the Western Interior. Winds will remain
southeasterly this evening before weakening and then rotating to
become southwesterly tommorow afternoon.
Today we are already seeing isolated thunderstorms east of
Hughes. As more energy reinforces the front we could see more
isolated thunderstorm development from the Kuskokwim to Huslia,
with most of the thunderstorms remaining over the terrain.
Tomorrow there will be another chance for isolated thunderstorms
across the Western Interior. They will initiate in the Nulato
Hills and then move to the east towards Huslia and Ruby.
