.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will be warming across much of the Western Interior
through Saturday. We will see widespread mid to upper 80s north of
Kaltag and mid 70s south of Kaltag. The coastal areas will be in
the mid 70s. The minimum RH values will follow a similar pattern
with areas north of Kaltag in the low to mid 20s, and south of
Kaltag in the 50s. Winds are expected to be light overnight, and
breezy up to 10 mph in the afternoon. Most of the winds will be
from the east with the exception of the Coastal areas receiving
Sea Breeze effects.
There could be an isolated thunderstorm Wednesday in the Middle
Yukon, Koyukuk, and Kobuk Valleys. Thursday those thunderstorm
chances shift westward to the Seward Peninsula.
