.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Isolated to scattered thunderstorms continue Saturday afternoon
with the highest activity expected from the Upper Kuskokwim
Valley towards the Nulato Hills. Thunderstorm chances decrease
Sunday into Monday.
- Temperatures remain warm Saturday afternoon with most Interior
locations seeing highs in the mid to upper 70s while coastal
regions remain in the mid 60s. Widespread cooler temperatures
are expected Sunday into Monday.
- Min RHs will be on an increasing trend going into next week as
widespread showers move into the area. Driest values will be
around 40-50% Saturday and Sunday afternoons in the Western
Interior.
- Winds remain mostly light and variable through Saturday
afternoon before shifting towards the east/northeast on Monday
as a low pressure system in Bristol Bay pushes farther north.
