.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures cool slightly as an Arctic front moves south today,
but most of the rain is expected north and east of the region.
Highs in the mid 70s are expected through at least Wednesday with
cooler weather coming from the west late Thursday into Friday.
Minimum RHs in the 50s for most areas fall into the 40s Wednesday
before rising again Thursday as cooler conditions return. Showery
conditions are expected to be fairly limited and largely driven by
daytime heating through Thursday with the Middle Yukon Valley
seeing the most showers. Isolated thunderstorms are possible with
these showers east of Galena today. Winds remain disorganized and
below 15 mph through Wednesday when more northerly winds begin to
develop overnight into Thursday. A cool and wet pattern takes over
late this week and remains into next week.
