Key Messages...
- Continued cool and wet weather in Western Alaska with
temperatures in the 50s to low 60s.
- Heavier rain arrives on Friday and Saturday. Rainfall totals
through Saturday night will be around 0.25-0.50" in the
Kuskokwim Valley with a widespread 0.50-1.00" elsewhere. Higher
amounts are possible in the southern slopes of the Brooks Range.
- Winds remain fairly weak from the south/southwest through
Friday, then become breezy from the northwest on Saturday.
