.DISCUSSION...
An Arctic trough will be digging south on Saturday, eventually
coupling with a closed low moving east in the Bering. This will
bring increased instability later in the weekend and through early
parts of next week. The best chances for thunderstorms will remain
in areas east of Grayling and southeast of Galena. Widespread showers
are expected on Saturday with a shortwave moving up the West Coast.
An abundance of moisture from the gulf will allow precipitation to
continue through Sunday evening. The best chances for wetting rain
will be Saturday night into Sunday in areas east of Grayling.
Temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s inland and 40s and 50s
along the coast. No concerns for low RHs, with even the Interior
remaining largely above 35% well into next week.
