...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST SUNDAY...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO 10 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow above 7000 feet.
  Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Winds gusting as
  high as 60 mph. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected
  above 7000 to 8000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 1.5 and
  2 feet below 8500 feet and 3 to 5 feet near the crest. Winds
  gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 4 AM PST Sunday. For
  the Winter Storm Warning, from 4 AM Monday to 10 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will become snow covered and hazardous. Travel
  could be very difficult to impossible. Strong winds could create
  areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will begin around 7000 feet and
  increase to 8000 feet during the day Monday. Peak snowfall rates
  could approach 2 inches per hour. Snow levels will likely fall
  below 8000 feet again Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Persons should consider
delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
  could be very difficult at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will begin around 7000 feet and
  increase to 8000 feet during the day Monday. Snow levels will
  likely fall below 8000 feet again Wednesday morning.
