...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO 10 AM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 7000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations between 1 and 2 feet below 8500 feet, 3 to 5 feet
  along the crest, and around 6 feet at the highest peaks. Winds
  gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Monday to 10 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will become difficult to impossible due to snow
  and blowing snow. Roof damage is possible due to the weight of
  heavy snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will begin between 6000 to 7000
  feet Monday morning and increase to 8000 to 9000 feet by Monday
  evening then fall to 6000 to 7000 feet again Tuesday afternoon
  through Tuesday night. Peak snowfall rates could approach 2 inches
  per hour.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Persons should consider
delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
  could be very difficult at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will begin between 6000 to 7000
  feet Monday morning and increase to 8000 to 9000 feet by Monday
  evening then fall to 6000 to 7000 feet again Tuesday afternoon
  through Tuesday night.
