Public Information Statement

The Las Vegas National Weather Service office will be undergoing
a computer upgrade of their systems that require some regular
products and services to be unavailable between Monday, May 19 and
Wednesday, May 21, 2025. This includes a temporary suspension of
service to the NOAA Weather Radio transmitters, and some routine
climate text products such as the Daily Climate Report (CLI),
Preliminary Monthly Climate Data (CF6), and Regional Temperature
and Precipitation (RTP). These products and services will become
unavailable the morning of Monday, May 19 and resume Wednesday,
May 21 late in the day.

The forecast office will continue regular operations during this
time with all other normally scheduled products and services
continuing uninterrupted.

We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary suspension of
these products and services may cause. The observation data used
to create the impacted climate text products will still be
available for users throughout this timeframe.

We encourage users in the area to have multiple ways to receive
warnings and to ensure they have Wireless Emergency Alerts turned
on on their phones.
