...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 AM
PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...First freeze of the fall season is expected with overnight
  lows dropping into the range of 27 to 32.

* WHERE...Owens Valley.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 8 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

* WHERE...In Arizona, Northwest Plateau. In California, Eastern
  Mojave Desert. In Nevada, Las Vegas Valley, Northeast Clark
  County, Southern Clark County, and Western Clark and Southern Nye
  County.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high

* WHERE...Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and Northwest Deserts.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and kick
  up pockets of blowing dust. Tree limbs could be blown down and a
  few power outages may result.  Gusty winds will result in elevated
  waves and dangerous boating conditions on Lake Mead and Lake
  Mohave.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.  Boating in these conditions
will be difficult and potentially dangerous with risk of capsizing
small vessels.
