.DISCUSSION...Moisture from former Hurricane Priscilla will work
into to the Desert Southwest over the next few days leading to
scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce
heavy rain. The areas that will remain dry will be northern Inyo
and Esmeralda Counties, but gusty afternoon south winds will occur
in those locations each day. Humidity values will remain elevated
through the weekend due to the increase in moisture and
temperatures will drop to below normal readings by Friday.
