.DISCUSSION...Generally dry conditions will develop over the
weekend as a weak area of low pressure keeps a southwest flow over
the area. There will still be the potential of afternoon isolated
thunderstorms over northern Mohave and the Sierra Crest on
Saturday, but those are expected to end by Sunday. Elsewhere,
dry and breezy southwest winds will yield elevated fire weather
conditions through the weekend. High pressure will rebuild toward
the middle of next week with the possibility of a return to a more
favorable monsoon pattern.
