.DISCUSSION...A low pressure system moving through the region will
bring widespread showers and thunderstorms to much of southern
Nevada and northwest Arizona, with more isolated activity across
the eastern Mojave Desert. Storms will be a mix of wet and dry and
will also be capable of strong outflow wind gusts exceeding 50
mph. Drier conditions will spread from west to east Thursday,
with dry conditions areawide by Friday. Breezy southwesterly winds
and min RH in the teens and single digits will lead to elevated
fire danger on the 4th of July.
