.DISCUSSION...High pressure will strengthen over the next couple
of days allowing temperatures to rise to well above normal
readings through the end of the week. Although some weak monsoonal
moisture will bring at least a slight chance of thunderstorms to
the southern Great Basin and eastern Sierra, most of the area will
remain dry with daily afternoon humidity values falling into the
teens with poor overnight recoveries. No significant winds are
expected, although increasing southwest winds are expected
Saturday.
