.DISCUSSION...A drying trend will continue into Monday, with min
RHs dropping to 15-25% for all but far eastern zones, where RHs
will bottom out around 40-50%. The drying trend will be
exacerbated by gusty southerly to southwesterly winds Monday
afternoon into Monday night, with 20ft winds gusting to 30-40 mph.
An approaching system will result in a significant uptick in
moisture through midweek, along with potential for heavy snow in
the eastern Sierra, as well as additional snow across other higher
terrain and rain across lower elevations in Inyo County and the
southern Great Basin. Temperatures will also trend below normal
midweek onward, with good to very good nocturnal recovery.
