.DISCUSSION...Hazardous heat lingers for today, but temperatures
look to cool through the week, offing better humidity retention
and recoveries. Chances for afternoon and evening isolated
thunderstorms will continue over the next several days, favoring
the higher terrain before potentially spreading into adjacent
valleys. The southerly feed of moisture increases in the the mid
week, increasing humidities and offering increased chances for
storms.
