.DISCUSSION...Chances for showers and thunderstorms look to build across
Mohave and eastern Lincoln counties this afternoon and last
through the night. Slight chances will also be possible for
portions of San Bernardino, Clark, and Nye counties, but look few
and far between. Storms that form over Mohave and eastern Lincoln
counties will provide good chances for wetting rain and lightning
with the potential for locally gusty winds and flooding from
training storms. Rain chances dissipate into the late morning on
Thursday wit breezy winds expected that afternoon. Outside of
some slight chances for rain on higher terrain, the rest of the
forecast period looks dry with breezy afternoons through the
weekend before winds ease in the next work week. The pattens
change over the weekend will lead to reduced humidities with
daytime RHs falling below 10% for most of the district and
overnight recoveries falling below 25%.
