.DISCUSSION...
Very hot conditions can be expected over the next few days as a
strong area of high pressure builds into the Southwest U.S. This
feature will also bring about a gradual moisture return, with
chances for showers and thunderstorms increasing daily through the
weekend, especially over the higher terrain. Winds generally look
to remain light outside of any thunderstorms that may develop mid
to late week and beyond.
