.DISCUSSION...Monsoonal moisture returns to the region today which
will lead to isolated thunderstorm chances, mainly in the terrain
of western Arizona and southern Nevada. Afternoon Min RH will
still drop to 20%-30% each afternoon today, so moisture will only
be marginally impactful. By this weekend, afternoon RH values
will decrease back down to 15%-25%. Uncertainty in thunderstorm
chances and coverage this weekend as dry air moves back into the
region this weekend. Diurnal wind pattern expected each day with
afternoon wind gusts in the 15-25 mph range.
