.DISCUSSION...Gusty southwest winds continue this afternoon with gusts 25-35 mph
across the Mojave Desert. Combined with minimum RH values of 5-15%
and dry fuels, fire weather conditions will be near-critical in
southeastern NV and northwestern AZ. Winds subside Sunday - Tuesday
as high pressure dominates, but an approaching trough will cause
gusty conditions to resume in the latter half of the week. A slight
uptick in moisture during this time may yield isolated dry
thunderstorms as well.
