.DISCUSSION...Winds will wane through the week as temperatures
increase and conditions dry out. Minimum RH will range from 5 to
15 percent across desert valleys and between 15 and 25 percent in
the southern Great Basin and higher elevations of the Mojave
Desert. This weekend, moisture returns, with slight chances of
wetting rains across the southern Great Basin and afternoon
minimum RH increasing to 25 to 35 percent on Saturday. Strong
southwest winds will pick up Saturday afternoon between 35 and
45 mph, with a direction shift from the northwest on Sunday.
