...Heavy rainfall to result in rises along the Upper Sacramento
River...

.A strong atmospheric river will bring heavy rainfall to the region
into the weekend. As a result, rises are forecast along the mainstem
Upper Sacramento River over the coming days. This will result in
forecast points reaching action / monitor stage, including weir
flows at multiple locations.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

morning then forecast to recede to near 206.5 FT Saturday morning.
 Monitor stage 206.5 ft, Flood stage 209.5
Impact for Tehama Bridge...Near 206.7 feet, Water into rv park on
east side of river. Tires of trailers get wet.

Impact for Hamilton City...Near 137.7 feet, West Sacramento Avenue
and River Road north of Big Chico Creek flood 1.5 hours after the
Hamilton City gage reaches 137.7-138.0 feet.

Forecast to fluctuate near 97.0 FT into late this morning then
forecast to rise to near 97.5 FT this afternoon then forecast to
rise above monitor stage of 110.0 FT tomorrow afternoon then
forecast to rise to near 112.5 FT Saturday morning.
 Monitor stage 110.0 ft, Flood stage 114.0
Impact for Ord Ferry...Near 110.3 feet, Head cuts in 3Bs silt weir
start overflow into Butte Basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road
west of River Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase
flooding in Butte Basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in
Glenn and Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.

remain near depth of -0.1 FT into tomorrow afternoon then overflow
depth at weir increasing to 4.4 FT Saturday morning.
 Monitor stage 60.9 ft, Flood stage 70.1
Impact for Colusa Weir...Near 60.9 feet, Colusa Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Sutter Bypass.

forecast to rise to near 65.0 FT Saturday morning with continued
rise expected.
 Monitor stage 63.0 ft, Flood stage 70.0
Impact for Colusa Bridge...Near 65.0 feet, Water moves into the
parking lot of Loves Landing trailer park along east bank of river
inside levee.
Near 63.0 feet, Monitor Stage.

Forecast to begin overflow tomorrow evening then overflow depth at
weir increasing to 2.4 FT Saturday morning then overflow depth at
weir increasing to 2.6 FT late Saturday morning.
 Monitor stage 44.1 ft, Flood stage 51.6
Impact for Tisdale Weir...Near 44.1 feet, Tisdale Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Tisdale Bypass. This water
eventually ends up in the Sutter Bypass.
