...Elevated Flows Continue Along the Upper Sacramento River System...

.Runoff from precipitation last week continues to work its way
through the waterways, resulting in elevated flows. Some locations
remain in flood, with many others in action/monitor stage.
Additionally, Moulton, Colusa, and Tisdale Weirs are all
experiencing spill-over into their respective bypasses. Additional
moderate to heavy rain with renewed rises is expected Thursday into
Friday. Please refer to cnrfc.noaa.gov for more information.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Impact for Red Bluff Diversion Dam...Near 248.6 feet, The river
starts to flow eastward into sand slough on the left bank upstream
of the gage.

and River Road north of Big Chico Creek flood 1.5 hours after the
Hamilton City gage reaches 137.7-138.0 feet.

Impact for Ord Ferry...Near 110.3 feet, Head cuts in 3Bs silt weir
start overflow into Butte Basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road
west of River Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase
flooding in Butte Basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in
Glenn and Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.

depth of 3.5 FT into Thursday afternoon.

Impact for Tisdale Weir...Near 44.1 feet, Tisdale Weir crest
elevation. Overflow begins into the Tisdale Bypass. This water
eventually ends up in the Sutter Bypass.
